When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?

I started when I was 12 in school and the first guitar was a classical nylon string Aria.

What are your influences and which guitar players are your faves?

My influences are blues, classical, jazz. There are so many great guitarplayers. I like Hendrix, Johny Winter, Pat Travers, Blackmore, Page, Beck, Schenker, Al di Meola, Alan Holdsworth, Malmsteen, Gilmore, Frank Marino, Joe Pass, Steve Lukather, Herb Ellis and many more.

How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?

Around 30 guitars. Like Les Pauls, Telecasters and Stratocasters. Strats I prefere because of the weigh, shape-neck-cutouts and the tremolo.

What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?

I like tub amps, Marshall, but there are so many other great amps. Bogner is great, but too expensive.

How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
Kemper Amps etc., is not my cup of tea, cause I switch pickups while playing so much and use the volume and tonecontrolls on the guitar a lot.

Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?

Used Marshall JCM 900 and 800 mostly.

When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?

My white strat probably, because it stays in tune and offers a lot of different sides for playing different styles.
