When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
Hey I started playing when I was 13. My first guitar was a cheap nylon string acoustic.
What are your influences and which guitar players are your faves?
Influences range from blues/hard rock/jazz etc. anything that excites me and makes me want to pick up the guitar is something that I’ll try steal bits from and aim to incorporate it my own melting pot of techniques/ideas.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I have around 12 guitars currently, Strats own my heart.
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
Perfect guitar to me is something that feels comfortable in the hands. It all starts with how comfortable the guitar is to play. I like quite a thick neck so I feel like I’m really grabbing onto something, and I feel that translates into my playing. Amp wise I prefer clean amps with plenty headroom.
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
I have played both modeler and tube amps and they both do the job for me. Especially with the way technology is now with amp modelers you can really go wrong.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
I’m currently using a Handwired deluxe reverb and a 59 Strat replica.
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
If I could only choose 1 guitar it would be my Strat.
