When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
I started playing guitar when I was 8 and my first guitar was an orange SoundStation in the style of Slash.
What are your influences and which guitar players are your faves?
My influences are mainly thrash and heavy metal like Megadeth, Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. My favorite guitar players are Joe Satriani and Kiko Loureiro.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I own 8 guitars now and my favorite models are the V shape guitars, like the LTD guitars I own now.
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
I think that a good combination of passion, love for the gear and great components make the perfect guitar and amp. You really have to love it in my opinion and have to know exactly what you would like to have as a result.
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
I would not know how to answer properly because as soon as I got closer to this world, it was already with digital pedalboards and I never had the time to experiment with them. Now I have a tube amp as well and I really like the sound of it and the old school vibe of having an amp. A good mix of both is great in my opinion.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
From my side my LTD Arrow Andromeda was used for recording my solos. Everything else was recorded from Magnus so he’s the guy that can answer to this.
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
I would go for the LTD Arrow 1000 Violet Andromeda, I already have one and I love it.
