When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
I started playing guitar when I was 6 yrs old. My very first guitar was a 3/4 Hondo acoustic guitar.
What are your influences and which guitar players are your faves?
I have tons of influences from different kind of music,I’ve been really into thrash metal since I started but after a while I moved to neoclassical/shred instrumental stuff and lately to fusion music as well. My fav. bands are still Metallica and The Beatles while fav guitar players are Jason Becker; Yngwie Malmsteen and Randy Rhoads.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I have 6 guitars at the moment, only Ibanez guitars since I’m endorsing the brand! I have two fav models: Ibanez RG 565 genesis and the Ibanez rg 870 premium
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
I really don’t know ahahahah When it’s the right instrument I feel a kind of connection with it, it’s a very particular feeling. It’s not only about the sound or how it’s made, it’s more about the connection I feel with it.
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
I like the both, currently I’m a Fractal endorser and I’m using the FM3 which I like a lot! But I also love my old Marshall JCM 800 head from 1987.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
I used only my Ibanez RG 565 genesis. I recorded the D.I. tracks then Paolo did the reamp with a lot of different amplifiers ahahaha so the tone I have is thanks to him!
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
Ibanez rg 565 for sure.
