When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
I began playing guitar around the age of 13 years old, it was a an old classical guitar of some brand that we had at our home, without too many strings attached to it.
Laten on I got my first electric guitar which was a Peavey.
What are your influences and which guitar players are your faves?
Ritchie Blackmore, that would be the main musical influence on my music.
All the Blackmore music with Deep Purple, Rainbow – its the best school of rock.
I’m a classic rock fan. I love melodic guitar players like Uli Roth, Brian May, Yngwie, Gary Moore…
Paul Gilbert is another super guitar hero, he played the best „rock guitar concert“ I’ve ever seen, with that 40 min medley of his stuff. Amazing.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I’ve got only few of them – LTD for Humbucker sound , Fender Strat for single coil , 2 Seasgull acoustic guitars and a classical one.
I love the sound of a Startocaster , I’m sure that it was shaped by listening to the bands and guitar players that I love the most.
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
The guitar player who plays it. Definately.
For nostalgy I would answer a Strat guitar with Marshall amp whould produce the perfect sound for me.
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
There’s nothing like the real deal. But with all the super fast improvment of technology in our day you could get a perfect sound with digital modelers.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
I user the red Start and the acoustic Seagul guitar, plus Marshall and MesaBoogie amps.
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
Fender Stratocaster Rock’n’Roll!
