When did you start playing guitar and do you remember your first guitar?
I started at the age of 22 and my first guitar was a Charvell/Jackson mod.1988 ( built in only 1000 pieces) which I still own!
What are your influences and who are your favorite guitarists?
I have always liked Malmsteen, but also Michael Batio Angelo. My favorite guitarists are Joe Satriani, Victor Smolsky,Alexi Laiho.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
More than 50 from 6 to 9 strings. I prefer Jackson 7 strings ( my favorite is the Jackson SL7 USA Signature Chris Broderick TBK) .Live I also use Flying V’s by Gibson and Dean.I am also an endorser of an Italian brand Panico Custom Guitars
What do you think makes a perfect guitar and amp?
Comfort and ergonomics. The pickup switch I like the Fender model, because I use my little finger to select the position while I’m picking. For amps I appreciate the sustain it offers. I happily use the ENGLs.
What do you think about the modeler or tube amp question?
In the studio, I have used both the Fractal and the Kemper for convenience in handling the sound. Using the ENGL sounds. In smaller live shows I use the ENGL powerball head unit.
Which guitars and amps were used for the new album or recordings?
In „Huldufolk „of 2022 I used Panico for clean sounds and Jackson Pro Dinky DK2 Ash Glow Green for solos. I fit Seymour Duncan SH6s on all the guitars.
When you can only choose one guitar, which one will you take?
