When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
I started to play around the seventeen, i learned the first chords with the Tarantula’s guitarist Paulo Barros. My first guitar was a Slammer Hamer
What are your influences and which guitar players are your favs?
I like to hear music, so i use to enjoy many music styles. But the Gothenburg school, is the type of sound that rolls more times in my playlist. The way how guitar players like Jesper Strömblad, Anders Bjorler,Glenn Ljungström, Petri Lindroos…among others ( these are some who come to mind) approach the music i enjoy it very much.
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I own one guitar, an ESP Viper, with Emg active pickups i love the guitar is simple and efficient to make metal, but i like the ESP eclipse too.
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
Honestly the artist is the most important, there are a plenty of guitar players that use many types of guitars and amps and sounds awesome. It is a question of taste, this is art…
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
Nowadays the technology is quite advanced, so today we have modelers capable of providing us with a good sound, with the benefit of being practical and easy to transport. However, personally I prefer amp tubes, especially the mini heads. With an overdrive we achieve the ideal sound for metal, organic and pure, with the benefit of being easier to transport than conventional amp heads.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
A ESP Viper and Peavey 6505…classic formula
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
A ESP Viper…it works and it is confortable.
