When you start guitar playing and do you remember your first guitar?
When I was really young I wanted to play the drums, so I started out as a drummer. After awhile I wanted to try writing songs and started to play guitar aswell. My father is also a guitarist so I had easy access to all kind of guitars. The first one I bought myself was an Gibson SG.
What are your influences and which guitar players are your favs?
Oh, I have a lot of influences. Randy Rhoads have always been my favourite guitar player though!
How many guitars do you own and what are your favorite models?
I only own five guitars right now and my favourite one is a custom built guitar that our producer (and temporary lead guitarist) Cederick Forsberg built. It’s in the style of a Fender Stratocaster with EMG mics and a floyd rose tremolo.
What do you think makes the perfect guitar and amp?
The perfect guitar is kind of hard to say, when it feels like the guitar is almost playing itself it’s a good match haha. I like a lot of retro tube amps.
How do you feel about the question of modeler or tube amp?
Tube amp! Haha.
Which guitars and amps were used on the new album or for recordings?
Both of the guitars used on the new album are custom made by Cederick. I can’t remember what guitar Cederick used for the lead guitar but it’s most likely a simular to the one I used. So the same as I wrote is my favorite guitar is. The amp used on the album is a Marshall JCM 800 from the 80s, model 2210.
When you only can choose one guitar, which one will you take?
I will allways choose the custom made guitar I mentioned earlier!
