Today, Vibravoid could easily pass for a newly founded band! When the band was formed in 1988 and invented Neo-Kraut Rock, they already possessed all the ingredients that are trendy today: a „Void“ in the name, fuzz pedals, psych rock, vinyl records, and a light show. When the music industry discarded all of this as hazardous waste at the turn of the millennium, Vibravoid had already single-handedly started the revival. With elaborate collector formats and pioneering Op-Art vinyl records, Vibravoid set standards that were copied across genres. This pioneering role and the historic collaboration with psychedelic icons like Sky Saxon (The Seeds) have underpinned this status for decades.
