Finland’s „Queen of the Slide Guitar“ Erja Lyytinen celebrates her 50th birthday with Erja Lyytinen – 50th Birthday Live 2026, a spectacular live release capturing a landmark night at Helsinki’s legendary House of Culture on March 21, 2026.
The release will be available as a double CD, double vinyl and full-length DVD, bringing together two live performances that showcase Erja’s evolution from acclaimed blues artist to one of Europe’s most distinctive blues-rock guitarists.
The first single, „One Thing I Won’t Change“ featuring Sami Yaffa, arrives today August 19. Originally released on Erja’s 2012 album Forbidden Fruit, the song has been rearranged for this special live performance, combining blues, classic rock and glam-punk attitude. With Erja on vocals and guitar and Finnish rock legend Sami Yaffa on bass and backing vocals, the track captures the electrifying chemistry between two outstanding musicians.
The live band also features Harri Taittonen on Hammond and Jesse Lehto on drums.
