Frisson Noir’, Tarja Turunen’s new metal album, will be released on June 12th, 2026!

‘Frisson Noir’ marks Tarja’s first studio album of entirely new material in seven years – and her heaviest work to date, firmly rooted in the genre that has always been part of her musical identity: Metal.

The signs have been there for weeks. Studio moments. Video shoots. Clues unfolding across Tarja’s channels. The speculation kept building – and some of you were carefully piecing together every hint along the way. Watching it all take shape step by step has been something special for us.
