Through the perspective of a ruthless soldier who blindly follows orders, the song explores the psychological transformation that occurs in war. Commands replace morality, obedience replaces thought, and the battlefield turns human beings into pawns executing violence without question. Yet beneath the hardened exterior, doubt grows stronger with every shot fired.
The recurring question — „Whose pride are we fighting for?“ — becomes the core of the song. It challenges the motives behind war, questioning whether freedom and peace are truly the goal or merely the justification used to send people into battle.
As the dust settles, the soldier realises the devastating truth: regardless of which side claims victory, the real outcome of war is loss — loss of lives, loss of humanity, and loss of purpose.
In the end, „All Of Us Lost“ is not about heroes or enemies. It is about the tragic understanding that when war begins, everyone loses.
With „All Of Us Lost“, Fateful Finality releases the third single from their upcoming LP „Desolation“, which will be released on the 8th of May 2026.
