Following the announcement of All Gates Open (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Denver-based cosmic death metal visionaries Blood Incantation now announce a series of special cinema screenings across Europe and the UK for All Gates Open (In Search of Absolute Elsewhere). The screenings will take place in select cinemas and cultural venues throughout late May and June 2026, offering fans the opportunity to experience the band’s acclaimed 73-minute documentary in its intended setting: on the big screen and at full volume. Originally released exclusively as part of the deluxe Absolute Elsewhere Artbook, All Gates Open (In Search of Absolute Elsewhere) documents the band’s month-long stay at Berlin’s legendary Hansa Tonstudios during the recording of their groundbreaking 2024 album Absolute Elsewhere. Directed by Niklas Tschaikowsky and Tammo Dehn, the film captures Blood Incantation’s creative process in intimate detail — from rehearsals and improvisations to collaborations, philosophical discussions and the immersive cultural backdrop of Berlin itself. Blood Incantation comment: „The creation of Absolute Elsewhere was truly a monumental process — taking several years and dozens of people to manifest it — and to see the results of its ambition continue to blossom is truly humbling. Back in Berlin during July 2023, it was a real joy to have the documentary crew with us throughout the album sessions and beyond, chronicling many small yet important moments of the creative process. We were truly impressed by the final product’s warm and welcoming comprehensiveness; covering everything from rehearsals and preproduction, to collaborating with our musical inspirations, and diving deep into the personal philosophies behind the music.
